I am very concerned about the future of the world in regards to greenhouse gases. After all, greenhouse gases cause global warming and acid rain. If global warming and acid rain become a greater problem, the stability of the population and the environment are majorly at risk. Acid rain kills marine life and life in general. Global warming is probably the hugest problem our world has to face today. If the ice caps keep melting, water levels will rise and much of the coastal land and other land could be underwater. If global warming is not stopped, or at least slowed, how could we survive in the environment that we created much longer? How hard would it be to walk when you can walk, or drive a hybrid? Small steps like these are all we need to take to start making the environment a little more survivable than it will be if we continue the ways that caused it.

Yes a hybrid would be wonderful to have, but they are too expensive to actually get. Very few people have enough money to buy a hybrid but like you said walking would help a great deal to stop CO2 emission. There are also many other things you could do as well like riding a bike, car pooling, turning off lights and TV's when not using them, and shutting off your computer.
Oh, what a perfect world we would have if people realized that walking is better than driving. If we could somehow get it through people's heads that there is a problem here, then maybe they would see that not only is walking good for the environment, but it would reduce obesity, risk of heart problems, and many other diseases that people get nowadays. These conditions are a problem that could be solved while also solving greenhouse gas emissions. That's doing two things at once, and they're so simple to accomplish.
This is a very important problem. One thing that could be done, but would cost a lot of money would be to make enough low cost hybrids so that people could trade in their old cars for hybrids without out paying so much.
I think this is a great idea and I agree with it completely. I think that people need to start caring more about how they affect the earth, and they can do this by driving a hybrid car or just walking! And walking would also cut down on the huge amount of obese people.
As I said before on another post, you don't even need to buy a hybrid. Just buying a small car would help tremendously. It would lower gas emissions and gas use. It would be nice if people were to use their cars less and walk more often (which would help lower obesity), but it is incontinent to most. Sadly, lots of people are lazy (I am one to be blamed) and think it is just easier to drive a car. Obesity in children would lower greatly if they were to just walk or ride a bike to school.
I agree that greenhouse gases is a major problem, and we should be concerned that is causes so many more problems in itself. Also, I think that we, as a country, should come up with more ideas to make the whole world and country aware about all the problems we have. Otherwise, nothing will be solved, especially if the Earth's health is put on the back-burner.

I totally agree with you, Danica. If we came together as a country and gave ideas, this could be solved. First, we'd have to start with ourselves. If we educate the other countries and make them aware, and we contribute nothing, we are setting a bad example for a country who started educating others, but wouldn't listen to ourselves.
I agree with you Sue. I also wrote about Global Warming being such a problem in the world today. I think that it needs to be stopped or at slowed or who knows how the world will be in a couple years from now. The greenhouse gases that cause acid rain I also think is a huge problem because it kills our marine life. Also another thing is it changes the temperature dramatically.Tthe polar bears are going to become extinct because they will not be able to face the dramatic changes. Good Post.
