Ozone depletion is a major problem. This is because even though most countries have banned the substances causing the ozone depletion, not all countries have. The ozone hole over Antarctica is causing the ice caps to melt witch also speeds along global warming. In the U.S. we have banned these substances, but we need to spread the word to the countries that haven't done so yet.

Good point, Mason. I think that other countries just don't realize what these products are doing to our valuable atmosphere. Not only does the thinning atmosphere speed up global warming as you said, it also provides less and less protection from the powerful sun. If the ozone continues to grow thin, we will have more problems along with global warming.
Good point Mason I never though of this to be such a problem. Also I think that those countries that are still using those banned substances are harming the ozone greatly. I agree with you that we need to spread the word about this problem.
yes the U.S. might of passed laws about this but this doesn't stop us from taking work to other countries. we still pollute and deplete the ozone from other countries, and in my opinion that's worse than if we did it here because corporate america just beat the system.
You are right, other countries need to start pulling together to reduce or eliminate this factor. This will not just effect us it will effect everyone and everything. With the ice caps melting currents will stop or change and countries will become under water. This will lead to over population in countries still above water. Also this will harm and kill organisms in the effected ecosystems.
I like your post mason and i agrree with you completely. I would really like to know why some of these countries have not yet banned these substances. I can see where a third world country would have a hard time banning them but for others i don't see where the problem is when other countries have banned the substances and are doing fine.
