water pollution!! what is it really harming?
I think that water pollution/air pollution is a major problem in today's society. It is harming people, animals, and the environment and no one is really recognizing it as harmful. I think that this is a major problem that many people do not consider important but, I believe that a lot of problems now and in the future come from this specific topic. We need to fix this problem before is comes to the very worst!!

True, water and air pollution are very effective. I think we need to get a way to better watch and catch what companies and industries are really putting out into the environment. This destroys wild life and harms us humans.
Really, any kind of pollution is bad. No matter what, it comes back to hurt someone. You are definately right, Tawnee. Water pollution is a disgusting thing that just shouldn't happen.
Great post Tawnee. I think you are really on to something with this one. A lot of companies don't work in the united states because there are too many pollution laws. So they take their business to other countries so hire cheaper labor and dump pollution to wherever they want. This could easily become a major problem in our environment. i believe that something should be done.
Water pollution is a major problem, because not only does it harm the water, it harms us. Just think of all the things we use water for: showers, drinking, swimming, brushing teeth, ect. Using polluted water could make you very sick. Also it would harm the animals that live in the water, like fish, the animals that drink or play in the polluted water.
Water pollution is seriously the worst kind of pollution. It is believed to be linked to cancer in China because companies dump waste into rivers and that leaks into the water tables which then reaches peoples drinking water. This pollution can be 100 % avoided and that's what makes it so frustrating to me that it happens. It kills people, animals, and it harms the environment.

Sam, in every post you post, on here as well as a blog on myspace, you contradict yourself. Since you do not believe in global warming and you think Al Gore is one big liar with A.D.D. then what is pollution or even water pollution harming? It's just lowering the population, and which in your posts about overpopulation is a major problem that a law should be enforced about! This is just saving the wonderful government, which is totally fair, a lot of messy paperwork.
Tawni, I completely agree. Water pollution is very important and it needs fixed right away, as well as all the other. Its very dangerous to everyone and everything that used that water.
I see all of you said that you agree with Tawnee and saying it's bad, but what can we do, do you think? I mean we could try and inform the companies who dump things into the river, but who says they'll listen to us? We are the cause of half of that pollution. All we do is dump things into streams--like the Mahoning, and expect that water to cleanse itself. We have to inform the people of what they're doing, with a positive attitude about it and not just throw it at them.
