I believe that global warming is a major issue. For one thing it's causing the ice caps to melt, and if they do it will be the end to millons of people's lives. Another problem it's producing is that it's one of the leading changers to the environment. But how is it caused? Well, it happens when greenhouse gases enter the atmosphere. Sue Ann and I also found that acid rain is very similar to this process. But, I still say it's global warming because it's the leading cause from greenhouse gases.

Your right Kaylyn. Global warming is probably one of the biggest issues at hand right now. We ruin our environment, but we hardly attempt anything to fix it. We could be underwater, or die of inhaling toxic pollution, but do we care? There are only a few people out there trying to make a difference. Thank goodness for those people! We need to do something about this problem. Our generation is the future of the world, so we need to figure out how to correct the mistakes that the generations before us did not acknowledge. Like the quote on Mrs. Maine's Academic Biology page, "We will not fix anything with the same thinking that caused it in the first place" or something like that.
I agree. Global Warming is a major issue in the world right now whether people want to believe it or not. Whether you believe or not that it will happen soon, or even in your lifetime, you have to look towards the future of this earth and care about it, even if you're not a part of it.
